SHOW-YEN "SHOW-YEN II"
CD Sleeve Design
"SHOW-YEN" is a three-piece instrumental progressive hard rock band forcusing on guitar sound, formed in Osaka in 1998.
The original meaning of "SHOW-YEN" derives from the "shoen (manor)" owned by the powerful clans that existed in Japan from the 8th to the 15th century. The deliberate spelling as "SHOW-YEN" incorporates a double meaning, which is "Show (your Japanese) Yen", implying "We will show the Japanese Pride".
In this CD sleeve, some photographs of Nio statues, which have been regarded as one of the guardian deities in ancient Japan, are featured to express the power and wildness of hard rock music.
