"Quaser" is a Japanese progressive rock band formed in 1976. Former members included Kouichi Korenaga, who later became a tour supporting guitarist for TM Network . After several member changes, they rebooted full-scale activities in Kobe in 1993.

"Remergence" is their second studio album. It expresses the experience and sorrow for the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake that struck Kobe in 1995.

The main part of the CD jacket features photographs taken by Ms. Isoda at the live house "Chicken George ".
